Doug Obermann is making a career out of PBI-Gordon. Obermann, who is in his 28th year at the Kansas City, Missouri-based company, was recently promoted to vice president of professional and agricultural sales. He will oversee all sales facets of the PBI-Gordon professional and agricultural product group, including a team of 15 sales representatives and three sales managers.

Obermann began his career at PBI-Gordon in February 1988 after finishing his masters in agronomy from Iowa State University. He has served in many roles, from customer service to national product manager, to helping develop, name and launch many PBI-Gordon products. His most recent position was as director of sales for the company’s professional and agricultural product group.

“I am humbled and honored,” Obermann said of his promotion. “I’m looking forward to continuing to serve our customers and to our continued mutual success.”

Tom Hoffman, PBI-Gordon’s senior vice president and general manager, said Obermann is a dedicated employee.

“As a business leader, he is an integral part of the continued success of PBI-Gordon,” Hoffman added.
