Floratine has named Pat McHugh, CGCS, corporate agronomist for the Southeast U.S. region.

McHugh brings over 41 years of experience in turfgrass agronomy to Floratine and will be responsible for evaluating customers’ turfgrass and soil conditions to help them develop customized nutrition programs that best fit their specific needs.

Widely recognized as an expert in the golf course industry, McHugh has been a certified golf course superintendent for over 27 years and has successfully managed a variety of courses throughout his career. He is also the founder of North Carolina Turf Support, an organization that specializes in providing services for turf nutrition, physical and chemical properties of soil, water analysis and both national and international consulting.

McHugh, who also spent time working for the PGA, assumes his new position immediately.

McHugh holds a degree in turf management from Michigan State University.
