Superintendents and grounds crews are on the golf course at all hours of the day. That means they see the sunsets, sunrises, and everything in between. As the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) said in a tweet, “green grass, mountains & blue sky:
what more could you ask for in an office?”

It seems that being around all that beauty means that many superintendents could be budding photographers as well as well as talented turf experts. On World Photography Day on August 19, 2015, a simple request for superintendents’ best photos turned into a flood of incredible images straight from the course.

Scroll through the images below to see some of the photos superintendents all over the world shared on Twitter for World Photography Day.

The CGSA was right. An office doesn’t compare to the green grass and blue skies of a golf course.
