Toro Extends Partnership With State of Ohio
Toro and the state of Ohio have renewed their contract approving the use of Toro equipment and irrigation products by all state agencies and authorized users. The direct state contract provides state agencies access to a wide variety of Toro products that can be purchased at a competitive price.
John Deere Extends Support for the First Tee
John Deere announced an extension of its commitment to The First Tee, a non-profit youth development organization that uses golf to teach life and leadership skills to young people. Deere’s support from 2017 to 2021 will focus on community service and volunteerism, leadership skills for girls and program support of The First Tee activities in select Deere communities.
Turf Life Selects Mirimichi Green to Receive Award
Turf Life announced they have selected Mirimichi Green to receive its Servin’ Turf Award for August 2016. The Servin’ Turf Award honors and celebrates a turf industry professional, facility or organization that has gone above and beyond to create and/or maintain a sustainable turf environment. The name Mirimichi was chosen for its Native American meaning “place of happy retreat”. The golf course is located in Memphis, Tennessee.
Bridgestone Golf Names Angel Ilagan President and Chief Executive Officer
Bridgestone Golf announced that Angel Ilagan has joined the company and will assume the role of President and CEO. Ilagan will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Bridgestone Golf’s operations and growing its position in the marketplace. He will provide leadership across all of the company’s core business functions, including product planning, sales and marketing, customer operations.
