Robotic Turf Equipment Company is working with the National Robotic Engineering Center (NREC) of Carnegie Mellon University to develop robotic golf fairway and rough area mowers and commercial turf mowers. The robotic technology would allow for unmanned mowing on golf courses and other professional landscapes.
Rick Cuddihe, president of Robotic Turf Equipment Company says, “golf course operators and professional landscape maintenance companies are looking for ways to reduce their labor burden and we are providing the solution to that issue.”
Cuddihe says “The National Golf Course Owners Association can provide on-site, real life testing and end user feedback that is valuable to the development process. Golf and commercial turf equipment manufacturers have expressed interest in using our robotic technology in their product offerings.”
