The CIVITAS team is now operating under the name Intelligro, which includes the professional turf, lawncare and agriculture markets. The change brings greater focus to the resources, research and product development that contribute to the success of brands like CIVITAS, according to the company. CIVITAS is committed to the Intelligro mission of challenging traditional thinking when it comes to plant protection, according to a press release. CIVITAS, which debuted six years ago, is used by superintendents to control disease and suppress insects while cultivating healthier turf.
At the Golf Industry Show in San Antonio, the company debuted the CIVITAS IPM Costing Tool. Live demos showcased how superintendents will be able to better manage their budgets and resources. The CIVITAS team is gathering feedback to fine-tune the tool in preparation for its broader release.
The interactive and user-friendly tool enables superintendents to more easily plan for the year ahead, calculate their IPM costs and generate professional reports with a simple click of a button. And it gives them the freedom to do all of it on the go.
The mobile capable tool is web-based with no downloading required. Superintendents can access the safe and secure resource on any mobile, tablet or desktop device, from anywhere, at any time. In addition, they can make changes to their IPM programs on the fly, track the local weather, visually document their course’s performance and manage product inputs to monitor actual versus projected costs.
